FIXING THE SYSTEM

President Obama is Taking Action on Immigration

a) What is he going to do?

Obama is going to fix America’s immigration system.  Obama is taking leading action to fix what he can, to help the system

b) How can he do this without Congress's blessing?

- President Obama is using his executive authority to address as much of the problem as he can, and why he’ll continue to work with Congress to pass comprehensive reform.

c) What is an American according to Obama?

- He think that America is a nation of immigrants. being an American is more than what they look like or what their last name is, what makes us Americans is our shared commitment to an idea, that all of us are created equal. And all have the chance to make their life's like they want to have it.

e) What is your stand to the issue, do you think Congress will pass the bill soon? Give reasons for your opinion.

- Yes, I agree with Obama, a lot of immigrant has a hard time to come to America. And they also have a hard time getting money, jobs and maybe even a place to live. A lot of immigrants brakes the law, to help them self and to help their kids or grandkids. And this is something we have to change.

So I think that the congress will pass the bill, because they will understand Obama. And see that Obama is right.

Summary

- The immigrant is talking about different ways they have discovered immigration, when they first moved to America, the good and the bad. They are talking about how immigration makes America great. They cannot miss out of the Talents, a lot of immigrants does a great job. They are the ones that discoverd websites like Google and Ebay. A conclusion is that not only that the immigrants are thankful for letting America come to their country, but also the Americans are thankful for the immigrants.

JIMMY CARTEROctober 27, 1976
Quote - Jimmy Carter

“We become not a melting pot but a beautiful mosaic. Different people, different beliefs, different yearnings, different hopes, different dreams. ”

I like this quote because it tells us that we dont have to be all the same, different vearings, different hope and different dreams doesn't mather. All togheter makes it unique. One for all and all for one!
